We are currently only shipping orders in New Zealand.

For international orders, please contact hello@everydayself.co.nz.

We will endeavour to have your items shipped as soon as possible, however, as some items are made to order, please expect some delays as we bring your order to life.

All large orders should expect a 7-14 day turnaround time, sometimes more. This will be communicated as soon as possible. Please ensure that the delivery address you have entered for your order is correct. We cannot change the delivery address on the order once it has been dispatched. We are not responsible if you have given us incomplete or incorrect address information or for items which are not able to be delivered.  

All shipped items are signature required. We will not be responsible for candles damaged or melted due to parcels left outdoors unattended. All orders are shipped via NZ Post or Post Haste. A tracking link will be automatically sent to you once your item has shipped. We carefully pack our products for safe delivery within New Zealand however Everyday Self is not responsible for any damage caused in transit.

 

We aim to provide the most economical rates for postage and packaging (P&P) based on your delivery location or country. Delivery starts from $8.00 NZD within New Zealand. Those with a New Zealand rural delivery address will be charged an additional delivery fee depending on location.

 

R E T U R N S  &  R E F U N D S

Please note that our candles are made by hand and will vary in appearance and colour. Just like us, our candles may have some imperfections. This can include some slight variations in colour, all due to being handmade. Please also be advised frosting or blooming may occur and this is not a fault in the candle. This is a natural effect of using soy wax/beeswax and does not impact the performance of your candle.

 

R E T U R N S  /  E X C H A N G E S

As the majority of our candles are a made to order product, we are unable to offer any exchanges or returns for change of mind. Please choose carefully as to which candle you would like to make your own.

If your product is damaged in transit or there is a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 2 days of receiving your package. We will be happy to assist you further.

 

F A U L T Y  I T E M S

All candles are made by hand. They are a unique sculpture, created by hand and not a machine, thus any minor imperfections are inherent and part of the overall story of each candle. If your candle has a genuine fault, we will replace your candle free of charge. If eligible for a refund due to a genuine fault, we will issue you with a refund upon receipt of your faulty candle.

Please follow the steps below for faulty replacement / refund:

Please make contact within 2 days of receiving your candle

Please email and provide us with information and photos of the fault for assessment.

Once received, we will send you instructions for our returns process

When returning, please use a track and trace service as we do not accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and the buyer will shoulder the cost of the return.

We will confirm via email whether;

  • Your exchange will make its way to you or;
  • Your refund will be processed via the card you originally made the purchase with

 

D A M A G E D  P A C K A G E S

Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of our candles, stock can sometimes arrive damaged due to postage and handling. If this occurs, please email us hello@everydayself.co.nz with proof of your damaged product and we are more than happy to send you a replacement candle on return of the damaged product.

We do not take responsibility for packages left outside the intended delivery address. We use signature required shipping for all of our packages and once signed for by the recipient, Everyday Self is not responsible for damages thereafter.

Everyday Self accepts payment via Credit Card or Afterpay. Your payment information remains confidential and will not be shared outside of Everyday Self.

Everyday Self respects your privacy and any personal information will only be used for the purpose of supplying ordered products to you and related services or otherwise as authorised by you. Your personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties outside of these activities.

 

Please note: Payment or refund processing may take a few business days due to banking delays.
